AFRIMA executes a series of festivals and concerts in some of the biggest event arenas across the continent and in the diaspora in the build up to the Main Awards. The music festivals provide an opportunity for fans and followers of African music living on the continent and globally to connect with Africa’s traditional and contemporary music icons, stars and emerging talents whose craft contribute immensely to the development and dissemination of Africa’s music industry.
The music festivals are packaged to ensure that the creative sector contributes fully to the AU Agenda 2063 and to the African continent.
